The last 2 posters sold here, Katowice and London have been slow to sell out. (IMO worse posters have sold out quicker)
The threads for the 07 and 08 posters are never on the front page anymore.
EBeans daily hot page is now dominated mostly by art prints, few gig posters.
Is this just a lull, or an overall trend?

 Definately just a lull.SHOW COUNT: (170) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=114, US=124, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=4, Australia=5
 Mexico=1, Colombia=10

There also seems to be more collectors here offering their PJ posters for sale than ever.
 usually to pay the bills.

 Almost as much as the term Jamily which drives me up a wall.........SHOW COUNT: (170) 1990's=3, 2000's=53, 2010/20's=114, US=124, CAN=15, Europe=20 ,New Zealand=4, Australia=5

mm..well, the Katowice one wasn't that good and the London one is downright monstrously ugly.. Dusseldorf, which was the one just before didn't last 2 minutes on the other hand
so no, I'm afraid the craze hasn't gone :rolleyes:0

Just wait until June 12th, and the craze will be back in full swing, hitting its peak on June 24th and 25th....got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...0

Oh, no fear - I was using the term in a very sarcastic manner. Every time I hear the word "Jamily" I feel like I need to go chop wood for an hour to regain some manliness.Do you remember Rock & Roll Radio?0

I cringle when I hear that word too.
The reason the last two were slow sellers is because they were both sub par posters. I collect gig posters for the art and the London and Katowice does absolutely nothing for me. Katowice being the better one..
The reason art prints are dominating on EB is because there are so many great art prints being made at the moment.

Even Brad Klausen has turned his attention to art prints and he is offering three prints through the Modern Rock Art sub.
Gig posters will be back and the craze will probably be even bigger. There are some very interesting artists that are rising now and when they are hired to do gig posters, BOOOM!!I will swallow poison0

Def a lull. The last two posters are just frigging NATTY!!
That said, I DO THINK that economy has def taken its toll on SOME collectors. I know a few people whom I thought would NEVER part with anything, are getting rid of stuff, and they are not extras.Never, ever, flipping forget

The term Jamily makes me want to hide in shame. I cringe when it is used.1995 San diego, 1998 Mansfield, 2000 Camden, 2003 Mansfield x3,

No way, just wait ´til hopefully the Ed solo show posters will be sold!0

i'm sure poster fever will be back in full swing once there's a new batch with the june shows. think it's just a lull with no new posters (other than the 2 EV solo's).0

I think its because of Dick Cheney.... and never ever use the word jamily again... I feel dirty just typing it.This is your notice that there is a problem with your signature. Please remove it.

I agree with previous posts, it's because the last two posters were butt ugly. I'm an obsessive collector and I passed on both. The 10c offers members screaming deals but I'll save my poster pesos for better art work.
Besides, got 2 EV show posters coming that I need to pay for! (Thank you to my 10c buddy in Cali!!)
 Peace,

 The economy?
I think the whole market seems to be in a bit of a "sell" mode ...
I've recently gone after what appears to be some really good deals, seems like a lot of people are selling off some posters to get some cash.
Oh, and the mammoth poster blew.
All it takes is a great poster for people to go nuts ... let's see what happens if that West Seattle show poster gets offered up .... server down and people bitching, it'll feel like home once again."You're one of the few Red Sox fans I don't mind." - Newch91
