i live in ct, and with all these rumors flying i had to see what they knew! TAKE THIS HOW YOU WANT IT.. but i gave him all the whole schpeal about news tomorrow, and banaroo rumors blah blah... so i asked him if he knew anything ELSE .. new album, tour blah blah ... his response:

oooh damn, i hope this is true!! EDIT: there was a misunderstanding about my statement regaurding pj playing ct. what i mean is that, if they have a good chance of playing ct, they have a good chance of playing anywhere, probobly on a tour. because they would not come to ct for a vfc type thing or festival. therefore, if they were to come, it would be following a tour. BUT ANYWAY, whether or not this is true, do not know, but we can certainly hope. radio dj's gotta have some inside info, right! maybe i'll email a few more ;)

    That dj doesn't know any more than any of us. Are you saying pj never plays in CT? That's funny. I could have sworn I flew into Hartford to see a couple shows in '06.

    uhh no, thats not what i'm saying because actually i saw them play ct in 06 as well, which was one show. my point was, they would not play ct unless it was a tour, because vfc type shows and festivals don't take place in ct. so if they were to play ct, it would probobly be in result of a tour. that was what i meant. sorry you read it wrong.

    I agree that IF they play the meadows again then it would mean a tour. Nothing's been announced yet. Only rumors.

    tell me about it. obviously this is all rumor, but dude i gotta be optimistic! i mean this dj can't be completely bullshitting. whether his source was reliable or not who knows, but hey he got that from somewhere! i emailed plr too hahaha .. trying to dig upas much as i can .. all these rumors lately drive me nuts, so i figured i'd do some research.

    I hope it's true too. I hope they're all true. Maybe we'll know something tomorrow. I think I'd fly to Hartford before Bonnaroo just b/c it would mean a Pearl Jam show. Bonnaroo is going to kill me $$$$ wise. VIP tickets alone are almost $1300/pair. Fuck that. When does Fenway announce their summer concert? I'd go to that in a heart beat if PJ plays. Went for DMB and it was amazing.

    LOL you emailed WCCC? Haha, oy, that cracks me up. They probably don't know anything more than we do. I love listening to them, but they said Tool was gonna be playing Hartford in the Winter and had said some other bands were coming and they didnt. Unless you talked to Jim Koplik I wouldnt take anything too seriously. You should call for 6 Concert Questions with Carolli or whatever when he has Koplik with him, you might get a better idea.
