New Band Names

I need some ideas for a band name . I like 1 word names . nothing to involved . str8 to the point , but something that will cut glass. It really bothers me when we go to an open mic or something and they ask for an act name and we dont know what to tell them. Im open to any and all suggestions . TY and keep on RITFW

    yeah I'm in the same boat here...this is the hardest part about starting a band...in my old band it was easy....the singer came up with Secret Kind, and i didn't really give a shit, so it stuck.

    I think if I ever started a band I would name it Iron Radio. But no one else better use it because it's going to be mine someday. :D

    I look up the dictionary to find band names. I always liked "Covert" ( It means secret or hidden) or "The Coverts" cept I don't think it makes grammatical sense.

    edit: I just googled that to see what it was. Clearly i spend too much time playing guitar and watching star wars. I had no idea what that was. I doubt i'm missing much though....

    it took us a few years as well. eventually i came up with listless illusion, which we all thought was cool at the time. in retrospect, i'm not so sure that it ever really was.

    then the band broke up three months later. good times.

    it's funny though. we had about 20-30 original songs but we couldn't settle on a damn band name. you'd think that would be the easiest part...

    My bands called tequila mockinbird, took us 5 minutes of stupidity to come up with it, When your lookin for band names the best thing to do is look at the song listing on ever album you own and pick the best song names from them
