I'm always a sucker for In Hiding from Yield. It's such a great riff and all the sections are interesting.
Metallica's Orion from MOP is always in rotation too, have just about got it all sussed now, just a few minor phrasing wrinkles to iron out.

I love playing Yellow Ledbetter. I play it pretty much everyday. That song has so much feeling to me and that's the song that originally inspired me to learn to play guitar. I am also always working on Over The Hills and Far Away. Great tune!

because my parents listened to A LOT of folk when I was a kid, but that tune just wasn't for me, Sorry.

Well at the moment, I'm in a 'obscure, relatively unheard of band' phase - I've been playing:

    Whitewater - Kyuss
    Dead Anyway - Kerbdog

...wait, make that just about all Kerbdog ;-)

I've been playing Scar Tissue a lot lately, and I only learned it a few days ago. Really fun to play.

    Posters - Jack Johnson

Haven't touched my electric in about a month now.... it's been acoustic all the way!
  • I'm trying to learn as many Zappa songs as possible. Right now I'm past Peaches and Regailia, Cosmik Debris, and Montana (except for the Tina Turner interlude - that shit is nuts).

When I play cover songs on my own at home, I always find myself playing Castles Made of Sand by Jimi Hendrix. I just like to improvise off of that song.

Been playing "Undercover" by the Stones alot as well as "Champaign and Reefer" in Muddy Water's arrangement. Also for some reason, I find myself playing Dust My Broom by Robert Johnson quite a bit....must be on a blues kick.
There's Pearl Jam, The Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson......and then everybody else.
