making a new bass

Hi there,

I just wanted to share what I started doing a few weeks ago.
I wanted a new bass (fender precision type) but I haven't the money to buy a new one. So I decided to do one, buying the different parts each time I have a bit of money to spend.
I bought a bass body, a neck, a pickguard, etc.

initially, the body was like taht:

I varnished it, put the neck, and here's the result:

I have now bought tuners on ebay and I'm waiting for them.

    you didn't have the money to buy the fender, but you had the money+knowledge to do that?
