What key do you solo in for these songs? contribute to this list please

I was thinking it would be great for some of you guys to list the key that you should solo in for pearl jam songs....cover songs included


here is my start

Em.................black, alive, r. in the free world, immortality, porch,

please add what you can..

    Alive- Emin
    RIFTW- Emin
    Immortality- Emin
    Porch- Emin

    Seems to be a pattern there for the most part

    My mistake. I thought you were asking what key to solo in for those songs.

    Umm... I'm missing the point in that case.

    Corduroy - E min - E blues and Dorian scales work well.

    black is in E minor also

    D minor = even flow & red mosquito

    For the record: Most posts saying that a minor scale works are usually talking about minor pentatonic. If you decide to take those to the next level and make them dorian/phrygian or aeolian, make sure you choose wisely based on the key of the song. The great thing about minor pentatonics is their versatility. By avoiding the "passing" notes, you can use minor pent scales correctly 3 different ways.

    I didn't find anything useful there I think. Could you just post the e minor scale in a tab here?
