Does anyone know how to remove pup covers?

So I realized the other day that I like the look of exposed humbuckers on a guitar as opposed to the more streamlined humbuckers with covers on them. I'd like to change the look of my LP a little bit, and removing the pup covers seems like it would do wonders. If it is too complicated I'll probably just forget about it, but if it's a simple 10-minute procedure involving unscrewing a few things then I'll probably try it out. Can anyone help me out?

You need a soldering iron. PUP covers are soldered on at the bottom of the PUP.0
