I'm buying a guitar...

I only have a budget of £250 maximum, and i'm looking for a telecaster that's similar to the one Stone sometimes uses. It's also similar to the one Bruce Springsteen uses, in that yellow-ish colour.

Is there anywhere on the internet i can find something similar at the price i'm looking for?
thanks for any help! I'm in the UK if that makes it any easier to find stuff.

musiciansfriend.com has the lowest prices of any retail place.
eBay sometimes has better buys but you take a risk anytime you get a used guitar. I got lucky with mine, but the problem is 250 pounds = 472 USD, won't find much on musiciansfriend at least. Probably $530 or so for a tele that comes in the color you're looking for.

If you're going to buy a guitar on eBay make sure its from a 'store' and not from a person outright.

Of course you can trust some people but not others.

When i was new to eBay a few years ago i bought a Fender Jag and i paid way over the value of it, so beware.

If you save up a little longer, id go with musiciansfriend.

i have one of these and they are brilliant guitars, great tones, the p-90's give a gorgeous tone, stunner to look at, i love my custom squier, damn good for a budget tool
