Do you guys know of Doug Roccaforte?

Turns out one of my 'friends' (per say) has hooked up with him in a new band and are recording an album right now! I went to school with her and she lives (lived) about 5 minutes from my parents house. I used to be pretty good friends with her, but kinda fell out once she took up music hardcore. Apparently, she's in Orange County now.

The band is called the Black Orchids. I think their website is under construction still, but they have a myspace with some tunes on it. http://www.myspace.com/theblackorchids

I was randomly browsing amp threads at Harmony-Central where I saw him post a pic of her. I was just like . Small world. She used to play in a band with one of my really good friends, former bandmate (before school) and an awesome all around guitarist. I think I actually have a co-writing credit with her somewhere for a song that my friend and I wrote, and then he gave it to her band.

Anyways, just thought I point it out, because she's pretty easy on the eyes, and it shows how small the world really is.
