Sounds so good when played right, ive been practicing it hte past week, ITS SO FUCKIN HARD!!!

i tell you, on the average it takes around 9 months to finally get it

can anyone here sweep?

    Sweeping is a hard technique.

    I can do some sweeping, but you have to be careful not to overdo it, or else you end up sounding like one big cliche.

    Many people practise at it forever and never quite get it. :)

    i can but i tend to do it when no one is looking cuz you end up sounding like Yngwie Malmsteen and thats not a good thing:)

    sweep picking dude.you player a series of notes across the strings in a sweeping motion ie playing from your bottom E to the top E all with a down stroke and then back with upstrokes

    yes but u can only have 1 finger on the fretboard at a time and of course it has to be in key, and it is done extremly fast most of the time
