    To all who helped, thanks for the advice. Guitar buying plans are put on hold for now, but now I have a better idea of where I have to go for when I do mod the SG...

    And I've decided to get the SG next summer or spring. Going to save up now and depending on my job, I will either get the strat in october or next spring. If it's next spring then the sg gets bumped up to summer/fall. Just incase anybody was curious.
