I'm always a sucker for In Hiding from Yield. It's such a great riff and all the sections are interesting.
Metallica's Orion from MOP is always in rotation too, have just about got it all sussed now, just a few minor phrasing wrinkles to iron out.Music is not a competetion.0 -
always play Corduroy and Do the Evolution when i plug in my electric......on acoustic, i have been playing a fingerpicking version of Auld Lang Syne i am proud to say i came up with myself using the chords and melody.......i came up with the idea on new years eve (of course) and have been loving playing it ever since"I'll tell you what: If all I had was Pearl Jam, and I didn't have another band in the world, I would not be worried. Because in there is the essence of making great music. You don't have to use it all at once, but it's there." - Neil Young0

I love playing Yellow Ledbetter. I play it pretty much everyday. That song has so much feeling to me and that's the song that originally inspired me to learn to play guitar. I am also always working on Over The Hills and Far Away. Great tune!0

of those sliding capos or something. I grew up with folk music (Pete Seeger, Woody Guthrie and Arlo
Guthrie, The Chad Mitchell Trio, Richie Havens, Bob Dylan, Peter Paul & Mary, Joan Baez, Cat Stevens)
because my parents listened to A LOT of folk when I was a kid, but that tune just wasn't for me, Sorry.

Well at the moment, I'm in a 'obscure, relatively unheard of band' phase - I've been playing:
Whitewater - Kyuss
Dead Anyway - Kerbdog
...wait, make that just about all Kerbdog ;-)0 -
