Jack Irons Trash can lids?

Just saw people posting about SVT and I seem to remember something that looked like trash can lids on his kit(set up like cymbals), does anyone know what these are?
I need a fix 'cause I'm going down

    He used it in Do The Evolution a bit, I believe that's the only place it's used... could be wrong...

    Can someone post a video of him doing this? The clips from youtube don't show the lids on the cymbals...

    I rememeber there was a few instrumentals during Single Video Theory

    they were actually made by zildjian if I remember correctly.

    definately in DTE, me forgets the others from SVT that i heard it in

    you can hear him playing it in the actual studio version of DTE. i forgot what part of the song it is tho.


    has anyone ever noticed that sometimes jack doesnt even play on the hihat all the way sometimes? like he hits the hihat the same amount of times he would for his bass drum. i believe he does that in hai,hail. hes a wierd drummer i must say.

    yes...he always sounded like he had problems with leg-arm independence....funny thing being him bipolar, isnt it?

    the trash can part in dte begins in the first stone solo i guess....check that dirty-ride like sound....thats the sound
