A question about an effect

Im not that big on effects, so i was wondering if yall could help me with this. Its mainly a question for Pumpkins fans

On Machina, probably most notably on the Everlasting Gaze, there is this sound that almost sounds like a choir, but it sounds too artificial. It kicks in right around this lyric: "forever waiting on the ways of your desire you always find a way" Anyway, help would be appreciated

    its a synthesizer not a guitar.
    i remember you...i was gonna vote for you one time...but voting isn't cool so i stayed home and got trashed on listerine.
