so, of course, once i decide to do something i can't even wait until saturday let alone my vacation to do it. so here are pictures of tweed lacquering.

because it was dark outside the lighting's all goofy but it's going to look pretty close to this when it's done.

sort of olive, kind of orange.

i still need to touch up the bottom a bit and then it's good to go.

definitely doesn't look like the pumpkin orange that some of them are.
