Bonjour peeps. Lil update from the world of Nick. I got a Traynor YCV40T today and man it's sweet!
Went and tried out a few amps this morning. Namely Traynor's 40T and 50 Blue. I was really impressed with the 50 Blue's drive channel, but it's clean channel fell down imo when compared to the 40T's, which had a much brighter tone. That's what swung it for me in the end.
Can't get enough of it and i've hardly stopped playing since i got it home. Not even gotten round to trying out my pedals with it yet. This is my first tube amp, and until now i've been playing though a Roland Cube30, so you can prob imagine the difference in quality.
Loving it!

Traynors are great, I'm glad to see them start to catch on.
If people could hear a Carvin 2/12 Belair, those would probably get more popular too. Great band for your buck.

Got it for £700. Damn that's a lot of money, but i managed to get quite a bit reduced from the original price. Just a shame that things like that cost more over here than they do in the U.S.( wah wah waaaah!!! ..........viking banjo hits of the 70's! wah wah waaaah!!! ..........viking banjo hits of the 70's!
