Anyways I'm pretty sure it's his Roto/Univibe. (I'm not sure which one he has now)
The reason I want to see video of it is to see if he uses a slide bar as well. If he does, then he is absolutely fucking insane (for that big solo).WE'RE FAITHFULL

why does everyone keep saying it's a rotovibe on a slide/fuzz solo? perhaps there's some near the end but it's not the primary effect. or maybe i'm just confused.0

to me its just some really nice distortion, les paul guitar, neck pickup, and a slide thrown in for good measure....

RM is a weird one for sure. I was looking at it over the weekend, it is definitly a Stone song, the entire structure stinks of stone time changes and chords
The Mike lead sounds like a cranked up Marshall to me, and that might be the fuzz some of you are hearing. I am sure he uses a vibe as well, but it isn't on the entire song.
Just my 2 cents!WHAT IS THAT NOISE?

Well if it's not a Uni/Rotovibe, it's certainly a slide bar at the very least. There is something affecting the sound besides the distortion.
If you listen to LOTL, it sounds like halfway through the last Red Mosquito solo he's putting on an effect: it's either the Vibe pedal or he starts using a slide bar or something.
I think this is the best one for ripping DVD, pearljam7:

If you don't have much time or patience for this sorta stuff, then don't worry about it, but if you have some computer skills you should be fine.
