New drumhead question

Is it ok if a new drumhead has a "wrinkle" prior to installation? In other words, the head doesn't appear even-- the way that it would after it has been tightened onto the drum. I'm guessing that the head is fine, and won't be an issue, once fitted on the drum.

    Only way to see is to put the head on, tighten it up, and see how it does.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.
