what should I get ? a MXR Phase 90 or a Ibanez Tubescreamer??

    Seriously, though, it's what you need more. Do you need a good overdrive more, or do you have a decent overdrive and want to add the effect of a phaser? Which would you use more? It's hard to recommend one over the other, because they do completely different things. If it were between a Phase 90 and a UniVibe, or between a Tubescreamer and a DS-1, we could chime in a little more.

    That said, both are great pedals. My current FX are a Tubescreamer, a Phase 90, an Ernie Ball Volume, and an Ibanez Rack Delay. So, I like both.
    ...and if you don't like it, you can suck on an egg.

    phase 100. not as limiting as a phase 90.
