Any tips on playing 'Down' solo #1?

I've been trying for a while; I can play the solo just fine on its own, but when I play with the song I can't get the timing right... I know it's a very easy solo, but does anyone have any pointers besides just 'practice', cos I've done a lot of that already.

actually..

you could record yourself and listen. chances are youre adding a beat somewhere or something and don't even know it.
