Drifting would have to be the most "hippie" Pearl Jam song ever... and one of my favs!!!Everything not forbidden is compulsory and eveything not compulsory is forbidden. You are free... free to do what the government says you can do.0

That one is hippie all the way, even if Ed didn't write it his vocals are great. I also think of No Code a lot too, Off He Goes and In My Tree.Raleigh '03; Hartford '08; Mansfield II '08; Buffalo '10; Hartford '10;East Troy I '11; East Troy II '11; DeLuna Fest '12; Wrigley '13; Buffalo '13;Toronto II '16; Wrigley I '16; Wrigley II '16; Wrigley I '18; Wrigley II '18;

Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green0 -
Long Road - as always. Bob Dylan is all very well but i don´t think he should be combined with vegetarianism - take round a copy of Vitalogy and cook the poor girl a steak!0

your friend can be optimistic in other ways than being a vegetarian...
I have no problem with veggies, I date one and support it...but there are many other ways to make a drastic change to better you outlook on life.
I've began riding a bike daily, and hiking as often as I can. I've become more in shape and I find the freedom of riding a bike with my headphones on and just getting outside makes me a happier, uplifted, and more optimistic person.7/2/06 - Denver, CO

I could´nt have put it better myself - bought a bike 3 years ago and won´t use any other kind of transport. Even in the rain, the cycle to work every morning makes me feel more positive about the day ahead! And yeah, cycling and listening to your favorite songs as well is kind of liberating! Although careful on the roads!0 -
