I wasn't sure which section to post this in, so I'm going with WM...C because it almost seems logical.

I recently obtained (today!) a vinyl (yup, a record!) copy of "No Code", which has always been my #2 favorite PJ release. I'll be damned if the words and music aren't hitting me harder than they ever have before. I've just played "Off He Goes" like 8 times in a row! I won't even go into "Who You Are" and other songs that I'm getting a huge rush off of while playing this lp.

I'm going to drink and spin this disc all evening. :D

I wonder what it is about "Off He Goes" that just sounds so good. I may have to invest in vinyl.

I just won a No Code vinyl on Ebay yesterday. I can't wait for it to get here. Now all I need is a Binaural and LO2L...I might just have to shell out some bucks for those.
  • no code is awesome on vinyl

  • I put it on on the weekend and ended up listening to it over and over again. I love having the vinyl and it seriously is one of the craziest looking records ever.

    Agreed, especially for Present Tense.

I love how it almost turns into a new song after the second chorus, then winds down with that great outro.

That's the genius behind the song- one of the most intense & emotionally charged Pearl Jam songs that I have ever encountered in my 17 years of being a fan...

besides the boots, i don't even listen to my CD's anymore. When it comes to PJ, I go out of my way to spin the black circle. Nothing beats it.
