I am so hooked on that song!
too many fantastic lines to count, but one that's always bothered me is 'once divided, there's nothing left to subtract', and i get it in the sense that (i think) he means it, but i'm a scientist and logic overtakes on this one, and mathematically, this line makes no senseNo problem can be solved from the same consciousness that created it.

You've had your feast. You're wanting more.

My favourate changes from time to time depending on moods, sircumstances etc, but for a long time i find that the last line in Immortality "Some die just to live" is so intense. In such a small pice of writing it says so much. So many of Ed's lyrics are amazing, alot of which make your hair stand up on end and send a shiver down your spine.
I could go on but here are some of my favourate
"Some die just to live" - Immortality
"It's instilled to want to live" - Insignificance
"I have wished for so long...
How I wish for you today
Will I walk the long road?
We all walk the long road" - Long Road
More of a verse but i thinks its awesomeManchester 4-6-2000

"If you hate something, don't you do it too" (Not for you)
"All that's sacred comes from youth/dedication, naive and true"(Not for you)
"Vulnerable, wisdom can't adhere..." (Immortality)
"I had a false belief/I thought I came here to stay/We're all just visiting/All just breaking like waves" (Push me pull me)
"When he was six he believed that the moon overhead followed him/By nine he had deciphered the illusion, trading magic for fact" (I'm open)Let's say knowledge is a tree, yeah.
