"i've been harboring FLEECE in this reservoir." I pictured a big resi filled with sheep.
  • "Yellow Ledbetter"

    Great song.

Nice combination of Hendrix guitar style and Dylanesque speech intelligibility.

Well, instead of "Jeremy has spoken" I always heard something along the lines of "Tell me he's broken". Couldn't make it meaningful to myself, but still was surprised to find out the real lines :D.
I thought for a long time that it was "Jeremy's smoking...plastic"

    Just remembered an old one.

    State of Love and Trust

I always hear "pain to declare" instead of "pain, painfully quick".

Found out it was and the Barrel shakes aimed right at my face
shit! I thought it was "Trigger shaped, aimed right at my head".

Do you think those names would work if PJ did an Across the Universe type of thing? (where the characters are named Jude, Prudence, etc)

that is actually a clever idea...
I wonder what a PJ movie would be about...

In one of the concert boots I have on cd, or maybe its Benaroya?? Ed is talking about misheard lyrics and says that the funniest one to him is that Mike Mcready thought that in Kiss', "Rock and Roll all Night", were the real lyric is:

"I want to rock and roll all night and Party everyday"

    Mike thought it was:

"I want to rock and roll all night, and part of everyday" :-)

yeah that's benaroya, i think after Lukin' because he starts talking about how those lyrics are often misheard.

    funny stuff.

I thought the beginning of "Wishlist" was

I wish I was a new trombone, for once I could go off!

Makes sense right? You know how those pesky trombones are always going off.

I think in Corduroy Ed is saying:

    Everything has chains
Absolutely nothing's changed, ahh take my hand...

DUH I just looked up the lyrics and those are the lyrics....

Add me to that list, but I think it's cause I saw the misprinted lyrics (as mentioned by others). I remember even having an argument with a friend about which was correct.

Love this thread! Big LOL to "pissed on my plate", I think I did hear that at first too, but I can't really remember now.

Umm, okay, thanks for letting me know! I don't think I ever looked those up and thought it was "everything has changed, absolutely nothing's changed"

    Thanks! LOL ;)
