Wedding Song

My sister recently got married, and she is a Pearl Jam fanatic. She's the one who got me into Pearl Jam in the first place, so I am thankfl for that. But to get back to my point, she used Soldier of Love, from 07-03-03 in Mansfield as her last dance song. It was just so beautiful. Do you know anybody who's used any Pearl Jam songs as a "significant" song, not just dance song, like it served a purpose during the wedding. And, do you plan to use any songs in your wedding?

    I plan on using some Pearl Jam songs in my upcoming wedding...just not sure which ones yet...

    There's not many wedding-appropriate songs that they do, but I am sure I will squeeze Smile into the night somehow...

    Heh. How about release, followed by rearviewmirror as you run for your life out the door. . .

    Maybe that's just the way I feel about weddings.

    I squeezed Smile into my wedding. The DJ played it at a time when everyone was eating, not dancing. I also had him play Yellow Ledbetter as the last song of the night, just like PJ. It wasn't taken as a depressing song or anything just as a goodbye song to everyone that came to our wedding. If it were up to me I would have had PJ playing the whole damn night regardless of whether the meanings fit into the wedding or not!!
