Come Back: the prom song

I'm a high school teacher (as soon as i find a job) and i could see this as a slow dance at the prom, anyone else think so?

    Id love that at my upcoming grad! But im pretty sure everyone else would just be like "ew I want to hear 50 cent and fall out boy instead"

    Way back when, I thought Elderly Woman would be neat.

    Thought that would have made a cool song, being from a small town and all.

    I could see Come Back also.

    Ditto, I'm graduating this year, and this song would be so meaningful to me. The thing is, I believe I know the DJ, so I hope that I could get him to play it.

    Ya know, now that I really, really think about it. I really, really want this song at prom. PJ's a big part of my life, and there's quite a few PJ fans in my graduating class this year. I'm going to make sure this thing gets played at my prom!

    I'm starting to hope they play Blood at my sixth form prom :D

    But Come Back would actually be really nice, or Black :)

    You're not allowed to play good music at the prom.

    I'll probably be getting stoned with a friend listening to Pearl Jam while the prom is going on... much better use of my time I think. And if I end up with another girl by the time it rolls around the plans probably won't change. :p

    i agree, but stupid kids these days only like the popular stuff there hear on the radio. fall out boy what i joke, they got nothin on Pearl Jam

    I am as big a pearl jam fan as you'll find from the 18 year old crowd, but come back doesn't really belong at prom... its not even that good of a song to begin with

    Yeah it's not even a magnificant blues song with some of Ed's most impassioned lyrics he's ever written. Not even with an absolutely PERFECT solo by Mike. Not even with a simple meandering melody that tears at your heart. Not even.

    FFS I had to suffer that damn clapton song 4 years in a row. You should too! Anyhow, they'd just play something completely inappropriate like betterman if they played PJ. Just be glad if they avoid stalker songs like "every breath you take"

    that's a great song. I'd rather listen to it on repeat for 3 hours than what's going to be played at my prom in a few weeks.
