Since every once in a while we'll get a thread popping up asking about the story behind a certain song, why don't we all just post the stories to the songs we all know in here. I for one always enjoy when others reveal what the story behind a song is about. So ... if you have any information on any PJ song, feel free to mention it here. I'll start.
Coduroy: I read somewhere that the major influence behind this song was Eddie's corduroy jacket, which Mike bought for him as a gift. Well, when the company that released the jacket saw Ed wearing it they decided to jack up the prices. It's pretty obvious that this is an anti-celebrity song.
"I don't wana hear from those who know ... they can buy but can't put on my clothes."
