I cant believe some people dont like this song! Easily one of my favorite songs its just so beautiful. The lyrics, chord progression, everything about this song is awesome. I checked every setlist in 2006 and downloaded the first one that had parachutes in it but I still like the studio version better. I saw them twice that year but never got to see this song live unfortunately

i wasn't crazy about this song when i first heard it. but it has definitely grown on me. i was listening to the version from boston 06 today and it sounds really cool. i also like that it really doesn't sound like anything else they've done i think. i also agree with the beatle comparisons on this one. it's a good song to just mellow you out and make you feel better!!

Fantastic song. Don't know if I'd put in my top 5, but it stood out right away on the Pearl Jam album, and I really like around 99% of that disc. Some of their slower tunes are some of the best. One of the many great things about Pearl Jam is the diversity of their influences, which coupled with their ability as artists gives them the ability to change speeds easily and effectively...so many bands can't.
  • i liked it the minute i heard it for the 1st time. The best was when eddie performed it live for the 1st time in boston a few years ago, and he forgot the lyrics, it was awesome.

Also try comeback, I have been really into that song lately. It was actually on the show october road a while ago, and really fit the scene. I think that is only the 2nd time a pj song has been in a show, other than yellow ledbetter in friends.

See all u crazy fans tonight, if u are going!
