Anyone else love this song? I love the pace and beat of this song its very different for Pearl Jam.
Every time I hear it it psyches me up. I can never find a decent live recording of it though, do they (or have they ever) really play it much anymore. I did find a version on a 3 disc bootleg but Eddie forgot the lyrics and just mumbled the song, the music sounded great though.
So, anyone agree.

i think the guitar riff on Satans Bed is similar to WWS - both great songs!!0

but I tried to visualize a "Satan's Bed." I'm sure it would be quite hot, and yet very cold at the same time. I wouldn't know what to do there, because you certainly can't do what you usually do in a non-Satanic bed. I mean you can't just flip through the channels if your TV's in the same room, and the idea of a nightstand on the side for a resting place of the current bookclub read is just a mute point. No need for that extra blanket, I guess, eh?There is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous

I love Satan"s Bed. It was retired in 1995, but the band played it once in 2003, and butchered it terribly, which is the version you heard. Back in 1994, the song was INTENSE! I have a version somewhere, I'll try to upload it.Life reveals what is dealt through seasons

this song is a great one. To me it is alot like Not For you. Its a middle finger to the record industry and commercials and selling out. Satan being the epitomy of all that.
The live version people are talking about is really amusing, its just gibberish.
i like how he turns to mike to save him, "just solo or something"0 -

Its also my fav song on both boots!! when u hear it u will understand!!I like our socks. I hear we make a fine sock. I always say, You might not love our records, but I think you'll like our socks. - Stoney G.
