Can somebody please help me to understand what these lyrics mean.....


"The dead lay in
Pools of maroon below"

who are the dead?


"Gnashed his teeth and bit the recess lady's breast" ?????


"King Jeremy the Wicked" is it because no one loves him and he then sees himself as this bad ''wicked'' person?

    that's what i always thought, hence the pools of maroon (blood) and the dead. he fantasizes about getting revenge.

    I am still buffled at gnashed his teeth and bit the recess lady's breast, no idea.
    Does he fantasize about biting it lol?

    Perhaps it's frustration. He's acting out, looking for a female 'mother-figure.' Someone who has authority and who's job it is to keep him out of harm's way.

    I always interpreted gnashed his teeth and bit the recess lady's breast as him biting the hand that feeds so to speak. Rejecting the Mother. Plus there's that thing serial killers and mass murderers have about biting.

    For the recess lady you need to back up a bit to put it into perspective

    In context , seems like he was fucked with in a place that the protector(recess lady)
    should have noticed what was going on and stopped the bullying.
    Then he turns on the protector and then everyone else.


    Kinda like rubbing your cat the wrong way , you will get a response(teeth and claws)

    who are the dead?

    Seems to me like the dead are whoever he was drawing. Who do kids usually draw- their parents, siblings, teachers, anyone whom they love and feel is there to help them. Obviously this kid thought he was alone and the world was against him.
