Still some "Lost Dogs" out there..

Lost Dogs is a fantastic collection of songs that for differnent reasons didn't make it. But as we all know some songs were left out.

SOLAT, Breath and I Got ID made it to the greatest hits album. Maybe that's the reason they didn't feature.

So what about another "Lost Dogs"?

Let us include SOLAT och Breath to sharpen it up:

Add "Last Soldier" and "Stuff N Nonsense" w/ Neil Finn, and you got a hit.

covers covers covers.. if they feel the way i do, releasing covers is kind of cheating in a way.. although great, even lengendary covers, i wouldn't put them on a lost dogs set. I wouldn't quite count Crown Of Thorns as a cover though

Last Soldier should definetly be one. i was really surprised it wasn't there right next to last kiss and dead man.

What about the song Down. I cant believe that never made riot act. Pearl Jam should release a covers album i think it would be a great idea. Kinda like what metallica did with garage inc. A 2 disc cd with covers and b-sides and stuff from the early days.

Lost Dogs pretty much covers it. There may be a few songs left out, but for the most part LD had good song selection.

I remember hearing a couple of songs that Ed played back in 2002 at some LA benefit shows that were truly moving. One was called "Brokenhearted" and the other "You're True". Ed played them on a ukelele and sang with vigorous passion. The line "I'm at home in my own skin" always seems to guide me. You're True

those are all beautifully written songs.

most people dont know..

ed met a 14-15 (around there..) year old surfing who mentioned he "also played a four string insturment.. violin"

ed practiced all week after school and played 2 songs with him

although they're really great songs (and well worth looking for) i wouldn't quite call them b sides.

Well, I guess covers is a bit of "cheating" but they did release Last Kiss, remember so "Soldier of Love" wouldn't be wrong..

I've Got a Feeling has also been released. Japan version of Ten. I feel it would have been prefect on Lost Dogs..

Daddy Could Swear is also a cover actually. Gladys Knight..

The Lost Dogs verison of Brother was a fuckin blow in our faces. LYRICS!

Crown of Thorns is such an incredible song. I just feel like more people will get to hear it if Pearl jam released it..

I Didnt know Felicitys Surprise was Wellwater Conspiracy. That I feel is a little bit of cheating..

Rockin in the free world is almost PJ. They even did it in MTV Unplugged. Most classic cover..

I forgot one song the other day. Number 11 on the demo. Called IMPROV. Amazing version of Yellow Ledbetter. It's completely different as you know. Just pure feeling..

when i walk by a lost dogs sign pinned up somewhere i'm like, yeah there's another one. i saw one yesterday and told this clerk, hey that's funny there's an album that has this name, and the cover looks just like this -- wow!

I think goat would really make a great hidden track! i'm a fan of that song.

As for the covers, I don't think they should go in lost dogs, but a cover album by PJ would be just INCREDIBLE, they do so many great covers.

I don't think theres anything wrong about cover albums, but if they think it's not ok, they can always give the profits away to charity

Still some "Lost Dogs" out there..
