Love Feller, I’m currently working on his player run. I still need the 55 Bowman. That’s a great looking card, the wood borders are tough.

I’m currently focused on completing “bookends” for Hall of Famers. Their RC and their last Topps card. Just completed Monte Irvin and Bob Feller. I know Feller has the 38 Goudey, but I go by the PSA Registry. I will probably end up getting one at some point, but I’m good with the 48 Bowman now.

    Bookends! I like that!

    Im doing the "Dynamic Duos"
    Mays/Mccovey
    Aaron/Matthews
    Banks/Williams
    Clemente/Stargell

Gonna go your route in a few months and sell some PJ merch and get a Ruth/ Gehrig. Haha

Those are some nice choices. I’m getting close to having all the Post War Hall of Fame rookies. The Mathews will probably be the last one I go after. I want to get the Mantle and Mays soon.
  • I haven't walked into any card shows or conventions since I started this collecting again. Im not really sure if I will.

    But ya never know.

Just to look at some nice collections? Maybe

I’m going to a big one in Nashville this coming weekend. Hope to knock one of my big one of my list.

The amount of plastic this hobby consumes is amazing.  I don't care for the One touch holders.  I like the reg ol top loaders.

I would think that Ticket stubs of concerts would be a thing to collect as they are all going digital now.

I try to pick up players' first MLB games.

Ive looked at some youtube videos the last week or so of some massive collections some people have. Pretty wild what some folks have put together in their lifetime. I love looking at the collections of strictly vintage cards.

I have some dealer friends in the industry that have some IMPRESSIVE collections.

One of them loves to collect Clemente.  He will show me some Post Cereal box that has him on it and only 2 exist in the world.

Then he will show me a Vezina Tobacco card from Canada that I've never seen.  Then he has a Bronco Nugurski in nice shape.

It is really fun to see them.

    Another guy named Ash.

One show I was at he brought 20, that is TWENTY, 1933 Goudey cards in all various conditions. Some as high as a 7.

You should come to a show. You would be blown away at what some people bring with them.
