    THIS is priceless

In Seattle federal court, a judge dismissed a lawsuit filed by five people associated with the white nationalist group Patriot Front who accused a Washington man of infiltrating their organization, hacking its systems and publicly revealing members’ identities.

The plaintiffs — Paul Gancarz, Daniel Turetchi, Colton Brown, James Johnson and Amelia Johnson — claimed in a 2023 complaint that the defendant joined Patriot Front in July 2021 under a false identity and false statements about his beliefs.   They alleged he was accepted into the group after agreeing to keep confidential information secret and was assigned to take photos at Pacific Northwest gatherings.

According to the lawsuit, the defendant took photographs of members’ license plates, collected personal data and used hidden microphones and cameras to record interactions. The complaint further claimed he worked with a group of hackers who gained unauthorized access to Patriot Front’s computer servers, giving him administrator-level access to private chats and leading to publication of private chats and video links.

The plaintiffs said the released information identified Patriot Front members and included home addresses and workplaces, resulting in a coordinated doxxing campaign. They described specific personal harms, such as job losses, family disruption and financial consequences tied to the alleged disclosures.

U.S. District Judge Richard A. Jones granted the defendant’s motion to dismiss for failure to state a claim, finding the alleged harms did not qualify as a “loss” under the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, which is limited to costs related to responding to or fixing computer intrusions. Because the federal claim was dismissed, the judge declined to consider the remaining state law claims, though plaintiffs may amend and refile.

More people watched The Puppy Bowl than the Kid Rock headlined halftime show.

Nearly 13 million people tuned in for the Puppy Bowl - while a little over 6 million watched the Turning Point USA broadcast.

will put this here although it could also go into the since 2020 elections thread...

Source:  Heritage foundation.  A right wing conservative think tank based in Washington, DC.  These are their figures for documented voter fraud in the United States and they often cite this data as a rally cry for stricter voter laws.   It's laughable, even by their own numbers.

Voter Fraud in the United States is *not* a problem

Based on data from the Heritage Foundation Election Fraud Database and national voter turnout statistics, here is a concise summary of documented voter fraud cases in the United States from the year 2000 to the present.
The following chart categorizes the "proven instances" of fraud (cases resulting in criminal convictions, civil penalties, or official judicial findings) and compares them to the total volume of ballots cast in U.S. elections during the same period.

    Documented Voter Fraud Cases (2000–Present)
Total cases estimated based on the Heritage Foundation’s historical database growth and the Brennan Center for Justice's longitudinal analysis.

    Documented instances since Y2K:

    Category of Fraud
    Estimated Proven Cases
    Fraudulent Use of Absentee Ballots
    ~380
    False Registrations
    ~250
    Ineligible Voting (Felons, Non-citizens, etc.)
    ~185
    Buying Votes
    ~125
    Duplicate Voting
    ~100
    Ballot Petition Fraud
    ~85
    Impersonation Fraud at the Polls
    ~15
Other (Altering counts, illegal assistance, etc.)
    ~100
    GRAND TOTAL (Proven Cases)
    1,240

Ratio of Fraud to Total Votes Cast
To calculate the percentage ratio, we compare the documented cases to the total number of ballots cast in all U.S. elections (Federal, State, and Local) since 2000.
Total Ballots Cast (Estimated): ~2,500,000,000 (2.5 Billion)
Grand Total of Proven Fraud Cases: 1,240
Cases Per Million Votes: 0.49 cases
    PERCENTAGE RATIO: 0.0000496%
Conclusion:  The odds of winning the Powerball or being struck by lightning twice in the same day have higher odds than these figures.

I'd be willing to bet a lot of money that a large percentage of that 1,240 were for retRUmplican candidates.

AIPAC is toxic with Dems now, so they appear to be disguising themselves as they attack progressives in Democratic primaries.
