They pay local taxes for many away games except states that have no income tax. But I always thought it was the same tax rate as any other income earned in the state that exceeds a certain amount. The flat fees suggested in that article seems excessive but not surprising for California. I would guess that Sam's bonus for winning the Super Bowl will easily cover the 70K and that it is not an issue for him. Maybe something the NFL could challenge.

Other than the dirty Clowney hit on Wentz I don't have anything against the Seahawks. Congrats - well deserved. They beat the best team in football - the Rams.

I believe that's happened in the past. Not exact, but something like made the bet to win $1 million. Streak. Get arrested. Spend night in jail. Pay $50,000 fine. Count your $950,000 after release.

after particular a aa meeting its the place to go on a saturday night and a pizza was my go to. we had that side room to ourselves and like up to 20 people. it was a good tip night for the wait staff who served our party

I like their subs, too. warm, italian subs don’t seem to be a “thing” out west. 😡

I always thought that they put caps on the amount you can bet on things like this, but I could be wrong.

As for Brady f'in up...they robbed the Ravens on the Crosby deal, then the Ravens ownership got wind of public and league reaction to how badly they overpaid and used "health concerns" to nix the deal. Everyone knew Crosby was recovering from meniscus surgery and the medical records and Raiders team doctors were available to all potential trade partners ahead of time. This was simply a case of buyer's remorse over the 2 first round picks. Teams are going to stop dealing with Baltimore. They have a history of backing out of deals.
