That is where the network they represent should stand up for them. But I guess if the network has already told them to just deal with it then yeah....probably don't have a choice.

What I really wish they'd do is refuse to show up, in protest. I want to see Trump walk into a press conference and see only empty seats, or for there to be no journalists at one of his stupid executive order signings, or none waiting to board Airforce One. That would really hit Trump where it hurts. Never going to happen obviously, but one can dream.

I’d take it a step further by not mentioning CCOOTWH’s name, in print or on air. Refer to him as Herr Leader, or Generalismo or more fittingly, “our inept elected head of state, addled elected official or Sex Offender Epstein Pal occupying the Oval”. Stop or end sending reporters to the press gaggles, Oval Office and cabinet meeting press briefings and explain that you’re not covering it because there’s no point in broadcasting or printing lies and bullshit, and if you want to know why the country has gone to shit, tune into Faux, OANN and YouTube or read the WSJ, NYP, WE, etc. Open and end every broadcast or have a front page disclaimer explaining why you’re not covering the POS, nor mentioning his name. Nothing CCOOTWH says adds value to the conversation or debate. It’s pointless.

They can still cover what’s happening, just don’t cover CCOOTWH and amplify and platform the regime. Rational people will drift back after a hearty dose of the taint licking but that 35% never will. They’re way too far gone. Fuck ‘em.

Essentially, they’re arguing that Epstein was running an operation on behalf of the KGB/Putin that lured wealthy and powerful men to Epstein’s New York and Palm Beach mansions and his island where they were surreptitiously filmed having sex with underage girls.
That material was then presumably passed along to Putin, who used it for leverage when he needed it:
“Intelligence sources believe Epstein was running ‘the world’s largest honeytrap operation’ on behalf of the KGB when he procured women for his network of associates.”
In return for giving Putin videos of wealthy, famous men in criminally compromising positions, Putin reportedly arranged for massive amounts of corrupt Russian money to be handed to Epstein to launder in the US.
Such money typically comes from illicit drug and oil deals, outright theft, sanctions evasions, and Russian organized crime oligarchs (including Putin and his associates) and is frequently laundered in this country using real estate. It’s the Mafia’s favorite, too.

Who here remembers Maria Butane and the NRA or that tons of CPAC, Turding Points USA and other repub lead bacchanals were hosted in Eastern European countries, some former Soviet socialist republics, from say 2004 to 2020? Based on the known spikes in usage of Only Fans, Manhunt, Tinder, etc. apps during repub meet ups in US cities, is it outside the realm of possibilities that folks like Randy Paul, Mitchy Baby, Mike “I haven’t seen that” Johnson, Elongitaint, Lindsey Flimsey Flip Flop Faloozy, etc, etc, etc, aren’t also compromised by pictures or video of them doing untoward things, legal or otherwise?

Time to start looking at travel records, who was in attendance, when/where, bank records and whether their public statements and votes changed after, and to press them on what we all to know is clearly wrong. Make them explain themselves and press them hard. If they’re innocent, they’ve got nothing to worry about. If they flee, get pissy, raise their voice or become irrational, they’re hiding something. And they’re hiding something because they’re compromised. Or as Putin on the ritz likes to say, kompromat.
