As for the other replies to what I said, I'm not doing to respond directly to any of them. They are a reflection of how toxic this place is and I'm just tired of being reminded of that. Honestly, I don't care that people make derogatory remarks about me. That's more a reflection on them than me.
So this is yet again a reminder of how much toxic and hate filled these forums are in general. I'm over it and I'm over this place. I won't be the first to leave for that reason.

Brian, if you look at the menu on the right, there is a "My posts" section - go in there, find this thread, and select "mute" from the menu. That might stop the email notifications. I'm not actually sure that will work - it might simply hide the thread from your view on the site - but it could also stop notifications, and I'd be interested to know if it does!

For the record, I don't feel like anything in this thread has been directed at you in any way, and I can't honestly make sense of why it is bothering you. Sorry.

I don't care so much about what people say about me. By now everybody knows what I'm like and what I'm about here. What I don't like is all the hatred in this thread. There are so many worse people in this country who are doing vastly more damage to our society and the world as a whole, and I hate it that a thread I started became a vehicle for more hate. If we're going to hate, at least hate the people who are doing the greatest amount of damage. Maher is small potatoes. He's not even mini-Hilter. Imagine him with that little mustache. Pathetic!

When you go to Edit Profile, Edit Preferences, you can select the Preference for Notifications. Unselect any request for the following...if applicable. Let us know if it worked, Brian. Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestion,Kat. My main objective is to not be associated with, or have my name associated with a hateful thread. Is there any reason we can't just end this thread and let someone else start another (that I ca guarantee I would avoid 100%)? Is that asking too much?

except when milo is on there. or any other trump sycophant. bill talks shit when they aren't there, but he basically blew milo and did not confront him on anything he should have. that was when bill lost me forever.
