Live near Minneapolis and a complete random benefit concert was announced for friday. It’s Tom Morello and Rise Against+ very special guests. Names going around already are Serj Tankian, Billy Joe Armstrong, Bruce Springsteen and Eddie Vedder.Doors open at 10:30AM at First Avenue.

just happened to be on social media when show was announced and tickets went on sale. Was able to grab 2 GA tickets. $25 per ticket. Hoping Bruce or EV are some of the guests. Show Sold Out in under 3 minutes.
I would say congrats, but that just is not the word to describe the situation you, @onwis97 or @tbergs have found yourselves in. Hope you have a safe enjoyable experience and for a small time can forget the cruel reality Minneapolis has found itself in recently.

Even if BS / EV don't show up, there's a lot of power in a large crowd of people who are angry and want justice.

The rumor that seems most likely to me out of all the rumors for 2026 is that the 2026 Tour Rumor Thread will have the crappiest ratio when it comes to the sheer number of posts in relation to tour rumor posts.

It would be surprising, although admittedly not shocking, if the only PJ related shows this year were a small scattering of EV dates in Japan and his annual Ohana appearance.

💯 it’s also been a quiet year for music as well. This is most likely the key time to be rehearsing and being creative with new material.

artists are weighing the pros and cons of touring during this time of uncertain economy and geopolitical situations

What's the most exciting song PJ could open with on the first show w/ the new drummer?

My answer: YOU ARE - deep cut, hard to pull off live, Cameron-written track that would truly show nothing is off the table.
I am voting for Tom Sawyer....see what he (or she) can do...and we could air drum along with him (or her).

People would lose their sh!t if that happened....   :D
I understand the drummer angle on this. But personally, I don't need any more covers. I go to Pearl Jam shows to hear Pearl Jam songs. It's bad enough that we're pretty much guaranteed either Baba or RITFW at every single show.
Separate topics for sure (I am with you on fewer covers)...my comment was just an attempt at a mediocre joke...although---?  I wonder how it would sound now that I have put it out there in the universe....could EV even sing that song?  Whoever does take over behind the drum kit...I hope that they are afforded a killer drum solo every once in a while...maybe every tenth show-make it feel like you were "lucky" to have seen it.....
I took it as the joke intended haha, but the response on covers also prompted me to think about what that 2nd set opener that is the Ed acoustic song would be like if it were always an acoustic PJ song.  It's almost always a cover. What if we got Comes Then Goes, or Around The Bend or something.
I need Around the Bend to complete No Code. So, I am all for this.

Seriously though...why don't they play this one?? And All or None.
All or None is next level and great live. Definitely deserves to be played more.

As a band who've always taken a stand for their political beliefs, I feel that IF they choose to tour in the US this year it would be later in the year in the run up to the mid-terms.

Plus I would not be shocked if EV hits the road in Europe this summer especially in the context that the old Atlantic alliances have never been under this much strain...  Plus the guy loves Europe in the summertime!

Same boat. I need Around the Bend to complete No Code.  Got lucky with All or None at the Seattle 2018 Home Show. Can confirm its great live.

I don't think the drummer will matter to 99% of the people at the concerts.  I'm fine with a touring drummer.  They are in year 35.  Maybe 1 or 2 albums left.
I feel the same. Love Matt, but sight unseen I couldn't tell the difference between him or Jack or Dave. Any new drummer is unlikely to change that.
    Bingo
Fully ackowledge im a crazy fan, but I am almost the opposite here.   When Dave A left and Jack came on, the drumming sound was completely different to me, especially live.  And when Matt joined, the band seemed to come alive in a different way again, not just the drums.  I'm hoping the new drummer ignites a new energy in them.

My niece got in at 2:00 and was 9000 in the queue, and all that was left were tickets over $800. I tried to get her tickets a few days ago and my queue number was 270,000. It's insane.

For all the complaining people do here, we should appreciate the lottery and the lower ticket prices we get.

I hate to say it, but based on the law of supply and demand, the prices should’ve been much higher. Now, the secondary market will increase the price to what it should’ve been in the first place. The middle man makes the money rather than the artist.

If you do not hit the lottery you get stuck in the dynamic pricing hell of ticketmaster. I am convinced that TM does not actually put tickets on sale at "face value." Maybe the top rows all the way in the back. The only complaint, even with the lottery, is that TM is giving us less tickets and less of the best seats. And the prices are getting out of hand. If the the next PJ tour has $300 tickets it is a hard pass for me.

I’d say it’s an easy pass for me no way I’m paying $300 for any artist
