I really enjoyed the slightly smaller arenas in Fort Worth, Austin, Baltimore, and MGM. Reading 2004 was so fucking cool with 8-9k in an arena, can’t imagine what those small Canadian shows were like. The big trade off is you’re not gonna get an insanely loud crowd
Kitchener 2005 would like a word with you.
    Fire

6 shows in 7 days that stretch. 10 in 13. Wild
I got to see so many shows in 2003 and 2006 because of this. We will never see that pace again. It was hella fun while it lasted.
And $40 tickets. That really was the prime. I was just running up numbers.
Yep--that helped a lot when I was a broke kid in my 20s trying to travel on a shoestring budget with friends.
    First show: Mansfield N1 1998
    Last show: Pittsburgh N2 2025
    Show count = 80

The sound in Reading was terrible. Didn't they blow a stack? Good set list but not a great show. Just play Philly if you want a loud crowd.

In other news, it looks like DMB is set to announce summer tour dates on Tuesday. Aren't DMB and his tour dates an annual discussion within the PJ Tour Rumors threads?

The DMB summer tour is predictable, and usually ends at the Gorge. They are very consistent.
I wish PJ were as predictable...
Also wish for a Gorge show.

Me neither. There are always SA rumors. This seems to be one more for that pile.

Lol yeah they blew a stack but I thought that crowd and show was rowdy as hell, so many northeast and Midwest people traveling. I sat 5 rows up on mikes side at 15-16 years old and after the first 4-5 songs I remember being like HOLY SHIT. I remember Insignificance being a crowd pleaser and the debut of Sad. Grand Rapids was THE show though on that VFC tour, even with Neil in Toledo.

Is @on2legs suggesting the tour rumor regarding SA has in fact... no legs?

SPAC and Golford for sure. 2 each I'd assume.

At least you know you have a few shows at MSG you'll be at this year.
