When do you think the time will come for Pealr Jam to go into the Rock and Roll hall of fame? And do yo uthink they could go in with bands like Alice in Chains and Nirvana?

    I believe eligibility is 25 years after the first released recording ~ not necessarily an album. The press has a lot to do with who gets in and who doesn't. I believe they make the nominations. There are many bands out there that are worthy and have yet to be inducted ~ Lynyrd Skynyrd. Some bands get in their first year of eligibility ~ U2.

    What is scary is when the 80's revolution of "hair bands" starts getting in ~ Bon Jovi!

    It's a sad fact but the only reason Nirvana is so famous (i mean this by menas that people overlook alice in chains and sometimes PJ) is becasue Kurt committed suicide.

    I say to friends when they hear Ten; "If EV had killed himself and KC hadn't, you WOULD give a shit about this band. That is the real tragedy. Fuck the media.

    And I'm pretty sure you have to have been recording for 25 years, s'what I heard anyway, so that'd surely rule Nirvana out? And then pj would go in 2017, b/c they've been recording since '91, I think (?). So, only another 12 years...*sigh*
