Meaning of two songs?

I've just listened to Dissident and was wondering what the song is actually about. I've never been good at analysing poems or songs. So can anyone tell me what it means?

And the same for Alive, I dunno what that songs about.

I think there are about a million sites devoted to the meanings of songs. A good one is http://www.songmeanings.net It has the lyrics of a lot of songs as well as the opinions of fans about their meaning.

Some musics are easy to "decrypt",the meanings are implicit!But other ones can be about very personal thoughs,and those are only significant to who writes them!
