So I received my package in Sydney, Australia today and was pretty excited—until I saw the size of the parcel. I ordered a men’s large, and the listed weight was 0.77 kg (about 1.69 lbs). But the shipping weight showed as 5 lbs for the entire three-week shipping period, which definitely added to the excitement of not knowing what I was actually getting.

I was underwhelmed with last year’s mystery bag (Rat T-shirt, European flag), and it’s safe to say I had a similar reaction this time. A few fan-club T-shirts, some Fenway merch, a trucker hat I already own… I’m a sucker for Pearl Jam memorabilia—I’ve been a fan for 31 of my 36 years, a long-time daily lurker on this forum, and fairly new to the 10 Club—so I’ll keep buying these mystery bags. It’s all fun, and you’ve got to be in it to win it.

I do have a question for fellow Aussies: has anyone received anything rare or out of the ordinary? Has your package ever tipped the scales at a few kilos? I remember my previous order weighing about the same. Shipping and tax to Australia came to $58 USD, just under $90 AUD. I’m fortunate that the cost isn’t a big issue for me, and I’m not complaining—just curious if we down here are receiving lighter packages because of freight and taxes.

In the item description, it says something like all shipping weight starts at 5lbs. It's just to cover postage.




My Wxxl is coming in at 3.16 lbs, arriving Friday (hopefully). 

Mine says estimated for today, but it just landed this morning in Orlando which is approximately 1.5 hrs away, so my guess is tomorrow.   I'm looking forward to it.  We have family coming this weekend and staying the whole week, so this will be a nice pre-chaos pick me up.  There's no way I'll have the willpower to hold out until christmas like i wanted to lol

Supposed to get it this evening, and it just arrived in Orlando. 
I'm only 30-40 minutes from there, but I'm guessing it will be here tomorrow.

An autographed poster from the 1994 Regal Theater show in Chicago(since they know I was there).
An autographed Christmas card from the Vedder family, inviting me over for Christmas dinner, and asking me to read " Twas the night before Christmas".
And of course an autographed Benny.

Hopefully I'm correct on everything.

I think the Christmas card is the most awesome guess.  You forgot that you'll all gather round the fireplace and sing carols a capella whilst indulging in bourbon based egg nog!

Ordered to take a chance on getting something special and The clothes will be for my daughter. I was hoping to get her a hoodie since she has so many Pearl Jam shirts already! We shall see.
