What are everyones opinions on "Why Go" ? It could mean a number of things i'm sure, but does anyone know the real story behind it? Or just ur own personal opinions on the song would be a great help, thx everyone. :)

    I'm not sure about this. But I think I remember Eddie telling the story behind it. It's about a girl he knew as a kid, whose parents caught her smoking pot and put her in an institution or something. She was 13 or 14 at the time. In the Ten liners, it says "4 Heather", so I guess Heather is her name.

    I feel for the girl in this song - I see her as a free spirit that refused to be broken (and therefore deemed 'different') until everything was taken from her and she was left alone. I believe it's about the constraints society places on individuals to 'belong' and to 'play along' instead of apparently stepping out of line, and how unfair that society can be.

    I always thought it was a person that was deemed to be crazy but she wasn't and eventually went insane for real in a mental hospital.

    I'm pretty sure this is the story, I believe Jeff knew ,Heather, as well
