Darn. I didn't want the long drive with the threat of a bad downpour. Had planned to go.
Did he speak or just attend? I know Kate Hudson was supposed to be part of the program as moderator.

There was no rain... Jeff did nothing, was just mentioned as being there. Kate was only onstage guest

Ah, thanks, that takes care of most of my fomo. I'm going to a different night now. I was interested in what details Kate and Cameron might share about Almost Famous, that we haven't heard before, but I'm sure I'll enjoy whatever background he shares, on the night I go.
Did you get to ask a question?

They didn’t do Q&A at the NYC event.

Lots of tickets left for San Diego
Isn't Kate Hudson supposed to be there? If I still lived in Socal, I would make the drive down.
1991- Hollywood Palladium, California with Temple of the Dog, Soundgarden, and Alice in Chains -RIP Magazine Show Oct. 6th
    1992- Lollapalooza, Irvine, California
    Nothing since then. I suck.
2016- Fenway Park, Boston - Both glorious nights
    2022- Oakland Night 2
    2024 Sacramento, CA

Good idea. Hearing the events recounted in his voice is sure to make his perspective even more clear, putting the emphasis right where he wants it.

We made the drive to Seattle for last night's event. It was a great evening! Crowe is very engaging. Ed of course is "quick on his feet" and he clearly had read the book and given a lot of thought to his comments and questions.

While Mike's "question" was funny, my favorite audience moment came when a woman in front of us wrestled the mic away from her fanboying husband to say, "Yeah, I actually had a question."  :D
