    I don't know what it means.  They don't know what it means.  I do agree, but the number just popped into my head (because I hear it all the time) and I went with it.

    If I’m understanding the gameplay correctly, then AL 3 is in the lead at the moment. 

    But it’s only bottom 4 currently, so long way to go.

    I played baseball into college and coached for years and have zero understanding of this contest lol lol

    I could be wrong, but I believe the winner is the person that chose the correct half inning that a team scored the most runs. 

    Toronto scored 3 in the bottom of the 3rd, so AL 3 would win at this point. 

    Obviously the OP asked us to choose total runs as the decider in the case of a tie.
