For some reason I have this song stuck in my head. When I listen to it I can picture a man or woman that left home years ago, maybe to attempt to become an actor/musican or some other big dream in a city and is hitch-hiking back to his/her old life after finding out that leaving was such a mistake.

    i agree,too beautiful lyrics.....some of the lines really make me sad listening to them.like the line..I turned my back,now there's no turning back

    This song really means a lot to me as my dad died about a week before Riot Act was released and the whole album (but especially this song) went a long way helping me to cope at the time..

    It can be interpreted so many ways, but the music and lyrics flow so smoothly. One of my faves off of Riot Act.
