I remember some radio show teasing Mind Your Manners by saying something like "Try my patience, my patience tried" and then airing the single later on.  Still remember hearing it the first time.  Man time is flying quick these days.

I need to stop measuring time in PJ albums.  "Oh, that was only a couple albums ago"....12 years!

Infallible is one song that I wished was better live.  I love it on the album but just didn't to work live which bummed me out.

going to re-listen to this album today on it's birthday. been awhile since I've gone back to it.

    I absolutely love this:

The crashing stormy waves erode her
    Shoreline everyday until the
Castle of her ways turn to sand

    She holds her lovely breast
As her birds fall from the nest
Flying towards the great northwest, yeh yeh yeh

And with no repair in sight
There is no God with such might
As to open her world wide with subterfuge

And your death will soon arrive
    As she finally decides
That all her problems, they won't die with you

Solid album. Some gems on it - title track, Yellow Moon, MYM, Swallowed Whole.

And the start of, in my opinion, their height of touring/shows. 2013-2016 was nuts. Setlists, length, sounding great.

    12 Years of Lightning Bolt
Here's a look at the album’s original cover art, hand-painted on canvas by artist Don Pendleton .

Listened to the full album last week for the first time in probably over 10 years. First half was better than I remembered, but 2nd half was just like I remembered and sub-par. Really like the first part of the album though. I think I usually stopped right at or just after LTRP.
    It's a hopeless situation...
