No way those games yesterday were boring.
Not saying some of the rules for Arena ball or CFL wouldn't be fun in NFL but they have the best product.
    Yesterday was awesome

not saying those games were boring. The few CFL rules that are different would make it that much better. Obviously with the shorter field, though, fair catches are a must to protect the players. The added 10 yards in the CFL mitigated that.

they have the best product because of the players and the production value. not because of the rules.

I've watched some of those old games and the goalposts being on the goal line was pretty dumb.
I actually way prefer the CFL rules over NFL. It's a more exciting game. Fair catches and no missed FG run backs, etc, is boring AF. If I could have NFL caliber players playing the CFL game...
You can run back a missed FG in the NFL. I guess it's just rare with the goal posts being in the back of the end zone.

is it me or do the Ravens seem to not beat the good teams but beat up on the bad teams?

    This is true.
And a step further, they always leave Lamar in and continue to throw the ball in the 4th quarter against bad opponents up multiple scores.

The Eagles stomped on them last year and of course they got a last second TD to make the score look close.

yeah, I know it's technically possible, but as you said, it's rare. I don't know if I've ever seen it. Anyway, back to NFL...

Whoever came up with this “taunting” penalty should be “disqualified”

Those were awful.  I kept thinking they had grass stains all over them.  Didn't like the helmets either.  They have a great symbol and helmet already. leave it alone.

I fucking hate (hate!) watching games on Fox.  They pretend there are no other games going on.
    No fucking crawl.  Unbelievable.
Makes me want to watch other TV and red zone vs. Watching game with my wife and son.  (Eagles fans)
If I have the option I'm never watching this stupidity.  Pretending there are no other games is idiotic.

    Nuts games today.
Damm Niners are average, at best, with all of the injuries.
Birds trashed Bucs, didn't expect it to be so easy.
Also didn't expect Ravens to be destroyed.

Networks have been showing out of town scores (at least on a pop-up basis) since 9-year old Johnny Abruzzo started watching football in 1986. It's very strange. Sometimes their score bug wasn't working, so maybe Fox just doesn't have enough competent people to make it work. They spent all the dough on Brady.

I love seeing the blocked kicks all over the place. I thought this had become a lost art.

The networks have definitely made a conscious decision to limit or eliminate the scroll with scores and stats. Fox has nothing now and CBS just showing the scores in small box in top corner rather than the crawl which used to have much more detail. Curious decision as it will only cause more folks to switch away to NFL Network or Red Zone to get updates (As well as look on their phones).

    This weekend we rock Portland

Another old man rant is that the phone apps changed and I don't like score scrolling as much.  It is bogged down and not as easy.
I did go right to Redzone as soon as the Eagles game was done (fun game to watch, I just want to see updates and out of town scores).

What phone apps do you all use?
ESPN and NFL are both crappy
