Keeping an eye out for when it comes to my area. It will be great to relive those two shows - such love and support in that room, like a warm hug.

Last night’s Canadian premiere of Matter of Time reminded us why this community is unstoppable. This is what our community is all about and together, we will keep driving toward treatments for EB.

What a night at the Calgary International Film Festival @ciffcalgary for the Canadian premiere of Matter of Time.  We were honored to share this evening with EB families, some traveling long distances to be there. Your strength, stories, and presence made this night unforgettable. Seeing tears, smiles, and even first-time promises from the audience to carry our mission forward reminds us why we do this work. A very special thank you to for hosting a beautiful afterparty at The Prairie Emporium. Craig, your generosity and commitment to community created a space where hope, music, and purpose came together. We are so grateful for your partnership. The night closed with an intimate performance by Kevin Drew and David French of Broken Social Scene , whose music underscored the film itself and filled the room with passion and hope. It was an evening of connection, courage, and optimism, the very heart of this community.

It was my absolute pleasure to attend this screening last Friday. The film was beautifully made. It showed the uncomfortable truth of the hardships that the family’s endure while fighting EB while at the same time highlighting a message of hope and optimism. Had the chance to meet Kevin and Michael at the end of the film and was invited to attend the after party at the Prarie Emporium. Thank you to all involved for making it a special experience for my partner and I.  As an educator I fully intend to shed light on this issue moving forward and I appreciate the panel for taking the time to give my question a thoughtful and meaningful response. Kevin and David’s performance at the end of the night was the icing on the cake. Keep up the good fight!
