I just wrote on the thread "last time a song made you cry" and I figured we needed an opposite thread...because lifes like that!
For me that would be Eels with "Mr E's beautiful blues": God damn right its a beautiful day..ahah!
May sound strange but thats my funeral tune right there...

p.s. Kushikushun means "Lets be happy together" in Quechua

Why not be mediocre and be the best at it that you can be?

I cried from the heart strings it pulls on, the relation or meme it holds for me in my life. And I was soooo immensly happy to have heard it. Big grin under tear stained cheeks.[sic] happens0 -

I heard immortality the other day on the radio and me and my friends were crying and laughing at the same time. So even though it can be a sad song we were so happy to had heard it off the radio. I never hear that on the radio and it was just like a little gem in the middle of the day. The DJ is a huge PJ fan and I want to think he is on this board from time to time.Let's Go Red Sox!0

A good friend of mine (who doesn't really like Pearl Jam) turned on the radio and on came "Gone"... i couldnt beleive i was hearing it cuz radio stations dont play a lot of Pearl Jam round here and then my friend told me she heard it that morning and she likes it. so we turned it up and just listened...that made my month!“I don't know what this means. I don't think it means anything.”

I heard 'Butterfly' by Lenny Kravitz this afternoon for the first time in a while. It always reminds me of someone that was very special to me that's no longer around and i always smile when i think of her.“Do not postpone happiness”

Last night, when I heard PJ's cover of Nick Cave's "The Ship Song" for the first time. I smiled on...and on... and on...
... until Ed stopped the whole thing with one of his usual "We really haven't worked on this song". His voice fits perfectly the amazing Lyrics.
Here's a glorious bit:
"Come sail your ships around me
And burn your bridges down.
We make a little history baby
Every time you come around.
Come loose your dogs upon me
And let your hair hang down.
You are a little mystery to me
Every time you come around."0 -
ohhhh, listening to the boot of Arnhem 2006 (Netherlands)...wowie. Chills down my spine, jumping up and down through the room. haha, if my students could see me now.
Thanks to all the great people who were there and had a blast...it shows on the boot.
But of course countless thanks for the guys, they were AMAZING. Great energy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was floored by it and the energy of the crowd. Made me happy to hear Dte, and Crazy Mary. Spin the Black circle is an upbeat tune and Sonic reducer rocks hard as always. Peace and Love.
A fun happy tune I dig is Intimate Secretary, by The Raconteurs.Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's Soul remains Unawakened.
