    Let the coverup continue.

    The White House has urged Republican lawmakers not to support a discharge petition from Thomas Massie, a Kentucky Republican, and Ro Khanna, a California Democrat, which would force the release of all of the Epstein files.

    James Comer, the Republican chair of the committee, said there was no need for the discharge petition since the committee had subpoenaed the records. The question of how many of the files will be released by the committee remains unanswered.

    Mike Johnson, the Republican House speaker, said the petition was “moot” because of the release.

    “It’s superfluous at this point, and I think we’re achieving the desired end here,” he said.

    Johnson was among a bipartisan group of lawmakers who met with survivors of abuse by Epstein and Maxwell.

    Damn. While showing no real evidence, the missing minute release will only lead to more conspiracy theories 


    “The "missing minute" from the Jeffrey Epstein jail video, which was recently released by the House Oversight Committee, did not contain any significant new evidence. The footage from that minute showed no unusual activity, and nothing appeared to happen during that time.
    The significance of the newly released footage is not in what it shows, but in the fact that it exists at all. The Justice Department had previously claimed that the minute was missing due to an automatic nightly reset of the jail's camera system, but the new, complete video contradicts this explanation. This has led to renewed scrutiny and calls for greater transparency, as the discrepancy between the two versions of the video has fueled conspiracy theories about the circumstances of Epstein's death.

    The woman who provided critical evidence that allowed federal prosecutors to charge Jeffrey Epstein with sex trafficking of minors in 2019 is speaking out publicly for the first time, urging lawmakers to release records related to the convicted sex offender to help his victims heal.

    Sources say Marina Lacerda, 37, was identified in Epstein's 2019 indictment as "Minor-Victim 1" and provided key information that helped prosecutors put the sex offender behind bars.

    Speaking publicly for the first time in an interview with ABC News, Lacerda called on the Trump administration to release their records related to Epstein and encouraged other survivors of abuse to come forward.
